Art Bible — working draft 0
What this is. The first layer of the new art bible for The Mission: what the book itself says about its world, places and characters. Nothing here is invented and nothing is decided yet. Look and style come after the art director has gone through the characters and answered the open questions.
How to read it. Every fact names its place in the book: P1·Ch1 is Part One, Chapter 1; CV·At War is the section At War, 2004 in Connor's View. On the World, Characters and Open questions pages, click any item marked ¶ to read the manuscript paragraphs it rests on, with the quote highlighted. (inference) marks something put together from several places rather than said outright; ⚠ marks a place where the text contradicts itself; ? marks something the text does not say.
